Good evening,
I hope your last week of classes aren’t too stressful. Here are a few notes from last night’s meeting:
*Derigging/Trailer Prep*: TOMORROW morning at 7am. If you’re going to SIRA, you will be there. Don’t worry if you have an 8am class because we’ll be done in plenty of time.
*Unisuits*:
- If you haven’t paid, you will NOT receive your uni and you will NOT be able to row at SIRA (or any championship regatta). – Please pay Dan the Man ASAP.
*SIRA *
- Meeting at YWCA at 8am Friday morning. If you are late, you will be left in Charleston and the rest of your boat will never forgive you. – Bring: – FOOD for the road. We will not be stopping for lunch because we need to arrive at the race site with ample time to practice. – Sleeping gear. This includes sleeping bags and pillows. Novice men should consider bringing sleeping pads, yoga mats, air mattresses. – Warm clothes & rain gear. It will be a tad chilly in the morning but it will warm up into the 70s throughout the day. 60%/70% chance of rain Saturday/Sunday.
*Election Results*: Congratulations to our newly-elected (or re-elected) officers for Fall 2012!
- Men’s Novice Captain: John Bro Wilson – Women’s Novice Captain: Steph Witcowski – Equipment Managers: Luke Rein & Michael DiPaolo – Secretary: Hank Hays – Fundraising Chairs: Gwynedd Arbury & Cara Lauria – Public Relations: Michael Richards – Social Chair: Olivia (Liv) Criddle
Thank you for your time. Keep up the hard work & good luck at SIRA!
Yours in oarsmanship, Hammer
