The College of Charleston Crew team is built around a shared commitment to training, competition, and community among student-athletes who take to the water in shells ranging from singles and doubles to fours and eights. Rowers develop technique and endurance on erg machines and on the river, then carry that preparation into a schedule that spans the fall and spring seasons at home and on the road. Crew culture here blends the discipline of an experienced oarsman with the energy of a student-run club, creating a program where novice rowers and returning varsity athletes alike find a place to grow, race, and represent the College alongside teammates who share the same pull of the oar.
